As IT Director I am responsible for all aspects of Shoemaker’s information technology infrastructure, networking, applications, cloud computing and security. Shoemaker has focused heavily on their online presence and is an industry leader in providing customer resources and online tools which I have also had a major role in the development and ongoing support. Some additional highlights of accomplishments include:
  • Successfully replaced entire IT infrastructure (servers, network switching, workstations, Internet, security) within the first 120 days and more recently replaced the factory’s outdated copper Cat5 network with Cat6, fiber and new switching
  • Lead a team to successfully procure and implement a new ERP system which we still run today
  • Moved the entire corporate office including all IT Infrastructure and CAT6 wiring to a new (next door) location
When I’m not working, I spend my time camping, taking my dogs for walks and hikes, and looking for the world’s best Fish & Chips.
